Why Choose Spark?
We understand that each student has a unique learning style and study habits, and how difficult it can be to receive the one-on-one support they need in the classroom. We also recognize the disruption COVID-19 has caused to schooling. Specifically the harm to a student's relationship with learning. Educators created Spark to provide an academic support service aimed at bringing a positive relationship with learning back to learners. That’s why we cater our tutoring services to the particular needs and circumstances of each individual through meaningful, fun, and accelerated instruction.

BRITTA PIGORSCH
Lead Tutor
Britta is a certified 1-8 grade educator. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in education and political science, she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to teach in the Netherlands. There, Britta worked in a Montessori school while also conducting educational research at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Upon returning to the US, Britta worked at an independent progressive school and served as the staff trustee on its school board. Britta now lives in Milwaukee where she teaches grade 6 math at an K-8 arts integrated public school.
